About Teresa Porter:  Teresa Porter is an award-winning portrait, wedding and event photographer in Cary, NC. Teresa’s work is frequently recognized for use of warm natural light and authentic emotion.  A bit of a ham bone, she dances, wiggles, and jokes from behind the camera until clients forget the camera is even there. About My Friend Teresa Photography:  In the earliest days, long before Teresa ever had a name for her business, word spread through friends who would enthusiastically say “you should call my friend Teresa!”  She thought the name fit the studio and her personality perfectly and My Friend Teresa Photography was born in November, 2009.  Clients often remark how comfortable they are during their session and how at ease they felt – as if they were laughing and having fun with a friend.  “Friendly” also describes her business style – treating clients the same way she would treat a close friend.
